A mother's blog: growing with my son!
Yesterday, we went for Samarth’s first hair-cut to our native place, Mathura. I was feeling very low since I loved his black mane so much. But since it’s a ritual, it had to b done and because winter is approaching, we decided to get it done now so that by the time it gets really cold, he would get his hair back… moreover he can wear nice, stylish caps to accessorize with his cool winter clothes

I was almost on the verge of crying when the process of shaving his head began…. first stroke of blade gently took away the tuft of hair and left a milky white skin underneath (it was his head!) someone had told me to give him a pacifier to keep him quiet …. but after few minutes sam began to lose his cool and realised that something fishy was going on there…. but thank God, it was almost done by that time …. and then we saw a different, yet cute looking Samarth
… all my fears about his looks had taken a back seat by then and i also loved his ‘bald-look’ …
This blog is born out of the need to share what we, as first time parents, are going through in bringing up our 'bundle of joy'. Parenting is the most difficult art that one perfects over a period of time.. So here we are trying to put across our experiences which are gained while practising this art... whatever is written here, doesn't prescribe anything. It's just a log of our daily happenings which we want to share with all of you... nothing official about it!
